Fashion Photographer Porus Vimadalal

Born and raised in Mumbai – India, Porus Vimadalal had a strong penchant for the creative arts growing up.
He got a diploma in fashion design and followed that up with commercial pilot training from Monarch Air – Texas. After acquiring his pilot license, Porus realised that his true passion lay in fashion photography. He went on to pursue a course in digital photography at The Vancouver Institute of Media Arts and has been professionally practising since 2012. With compelling narratives and a keen eye for detail, Porus’s clean aesthetic and sophisticated lighting, driven by curiosity, creates images that are both engaging and in the moment.
Porus was awarded “Photographer Of The Year – 2016” by ELLE (India). He currently resides in Toronto with his partner; fashion stylist Prayag Menon.
