Actor Brandon Routh

Brandon James Routh is an American actor who grew up in Iowa. Aspiring to be a writer, he attended the University of Iowa, and acted and modelled to earn his tuition fee. In 1999, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting career, subsequently appearing on multiple television series during the early 2000s. Pursuing a full-time acting career, he appeared as an extra in Christina Aquilera's music video 'What a Girl Wants.' He was signed on by a talent manager due to his striking resemblance to Christopher Reeve, who originally potrayed Superman. In 2006, he gained great recognition for his role as the Superman in the movie 'Superman Returns'. He has good supporting roles in films like Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and Zack and Mini Make a Porno. He also starred in the movie The Legends of Tomorrow. 

Brandon Routh then stepped towards Bollywood in the year 2009 with the movie Kambakkht Ishq, where he played himself for a cameo role alongside Sylvester Stallone and Akshay Kumar.
