Californian Born Edward Sonnenblick, grew up in the picturesque San Francisco Bay area in the United States. His interest spanned a variety of fields including arts and sciences. By the time he graduated university, he was an accomplished cook. He worked as a natural food chef in Northern California for the next decade or so until India called him. Stirred by the spiritual, culinary, cultural, and cinematic traditions, Edward learnt Hindi and moved to Mumbai to seek his fortune as an actor. He soon found himself playing a double role of evil British twin brothers in the hit historical TV series, "Jhansi ki Rani". His Bollywood dream has continued to unfold over nearly a decade in the Indian entertainment business, north and south, and also includes his rise as a leading voice artist in the industry. Edward has starred in a long line-up of films that include 'Dostana,’, ‘Ranjhana,’ ‘Kapoor and Sons’ and television shows.
He says the Bollywood film ‘Lagaan’ sparked his interest in Bollywood.
