Australian actor and wrestling champion, Conan Stevens commenced his career working in improv stunt theatre, whilst simultaneously working in ballet at the Sydney Dance Company. Additionally Conan worked alongside, popular UK comedian Julian Clearly for his Australian tour.
Conan partook in some film work including ‘Manthing; by Marvel Comics’, although a serious nerve injury resulted in his career as a wrestler being halted. Due to his injury, Conan accepted a new business venture and started a laptop repair and business IT support center where he worked for several years whilst his body recovered.
After years of slow recovery, he relocated to Thailand to work on stunts for a children’s action film ‘Powerkids’. Following this role, Conan worked in ‘Muay Thai Giant’, and a French movie, ‘L'Ile Au(x) Tresors’. Subsequently went on to play the role of Ser Gregor in ‘The Mountain That Rides’, Clegane in HBO's smash hit ‘Game of Thrones’, and Orc King Azog in ‘The Hobbit’.
Conan has also been featured in Bollywood with two of the largest budgeted Indian cinema releases, ‘Drona’ (2008), and Warner Bros first foray into Hindi language films with ‘Chandni Chowk to China’ (2009).
